How to add a High IQ widget to your Home Screen
Add High IQ widgets to your iPhone Home Screen or Lock Screen, and learn what each widget shows and when it updates.

Widgets show parts of High IQ on your iPhone, so you can see them without opening the app. Widgets work only on iPhone.
Add a widget
- Long-press an empty area of your Home Screen or Lock Screen.
- Tap Edit or Add Widget.
- Find and tap High IQ.
- Choose a widget and a size, then place it.
Widgets you can add

| Taste Profile | What you lean toward, from your sessions and rankings. | Small, medium, large, Lock Screen |
| Quick Actions | Open the app, ask Professor High, scan a label or find shops. Some actions may not be available on every account. | Small, medium, Lock Screen |
Some widgets show a short message when they have no data yet, such as “Rank strains to build your list.”
When a widget shows a message
- “Open High IQ to sign in.” You are signed out. Tap the widget to open the app, then sign in.
- A widget shows your data only when your account can use that feature. Some features may not be available to every account yet.
When widgets update
- Widgets refresh from the app. If the numbers look old, open High IQ and wait a moment.
- Widget data stays on your phone.
- Widgets clear when you sign out and when a different account signs in. See Sign out.

Are High IQ widgets available on every device?
No. Widgets work only on iPhone, on the Home Screen and Lock Screen where iOS supports them.
Why does my widget say Open High IQ to sign in?
You are signed out. Open High IQ and sign in. The widget shows your data after that.
Why are the numbers on my widget old?
Open High IQ and wait a moment. The widget refreshes from the app.
