How to read your Taste Profile

Learn what each section of your Taste Profile means, how it builds from your rankings, and what to add for a sharper read.

Applies to the High IQ iPhone app · Updated

Your Taste Profile shows what you seem to like most. It uses your rankings and the answers you give in High IQ. The more you rank and rate strains, the sharper the profile gets.

Open your Taste Profile

  1. Tap the Profile tab.
  2. Tap Taste Profile.

Tap any card to open its detail page. If you are signed out, the screen says “Sign in to see your Taste Profile.”

How it works

The screen explains the method in plain words. Rankings show what you like. Taste Profile looks at why: the High Family, terpenes and flavors you keep coming back to.

The sections

  • Experience patterns shows patterns from your experience answers.
  • Effect patterns shows patterns in the effects of the strains you rank.
  • Aroma and flavor shows patterns in the aromas and flavors of the strains you rank.
  • Top strains lists your highest-ranked strains.
  • Times of day read needs logged sessions before it fills in.
  • More strains like your favorites suggests strains that match your top choices.

Why a section may be incomplete

  • Early read means the profile is based on only some of your strains. The screen shows how many you have ranked.
  • Rank or rate more asks for more strains. Add more to fill in the gaps.
  • Log your sessions to sharpen the time-of-day reading asks for more sessions.
  • If the screen says “I am matching your latest feedback with strain data,” the profile is not ready yet. It appears here when it is ready.
