How to ask Professor High a question
Open Professor High, agree to AI chat, send a question, attach an image, and manage your saved chats.

Professor High is the AI chat in High IQ. You can ask it about your stash, your notebooks, or a strain. Professor High may not be available to everyone yet.
Before you start
- Sign in to your account. Professor High is not available to guests.
- Read Professor High privacy and consent. It explains what is sent to the AI.
- Read What Professor High can and cannot do.
Open Professor High
You can open Professor High in any of these ways:
- Go to Profile, then tap Ask Professor High.
- Go to Settings, then tap Features, then tap Ask Professor High.
- Ask Siri to “Ask Professor High”. Siri puts your question in the message box.
Agree to AI chat
The first time you open the chat, you see Before you chat with Professor High. The chat stays locked until you agree.
- Tap Agree to AI chat to start.
- Tap Not now to leave. Nothing is sent.
- Tap Read Privacy Policy to read the policy first.
This permission covers AI chat only. AI label scanning, AI receipt reading, AI notebooks, AI shopping recommendations and AI email import (only shown if email import is available on your account) each ask on their own screen.
Send a question
- Tap the message box, which says Ask Professor High….
- Type your question.
- Tap Send message.
To add a photo, tap Attach image. You can choose a photo from your library or take a new one. If you reach the limit, you see Attachment limit reached. Remove an image to add another.
If the reply is long, tap Returns to the newest message to go back to the bottom.
To send an answer by email, tap the email option. It opens an email draft with the answer. Check the draft and remove any part you do not want before you send it.
Manage your chats
Tap Recent chats to see your saved chats. From there you can:
- Search with Search chats.
- Start a new one with New conversation.
- Delete a chat with the trash icon. You see Delete chat?. Tap Delete to remove it for good.
If something goes wrong
- Something went wrong. Try again in a moment. Wait a moment, then tap Try again.
- Unavailable while offline. Connect to the internet, then try again.
- Image failed to attach. Pick the image again.
- Saving chat… appears while your chat is saved. If you see This chat has not been saved to History. Keep it open and retry., keep the chat open and tap Retry save.

Frequently asked questions
Why is the chat locked?
You must agree to AI chat before you can use Professor High. Open the consent screen and tap Agree to AI chat. That permission covers AI chat only. Other AI features ask on their own screen.
Can I stop a reply that is still going?
Yes. Tap Stop reply. If you want a new answer, tap Try again.
Where did my chat go?
Open the chat, then tap Retry save if you see This chat has not been saved to History. Chats you delete cannot be recovered.
