How to customize your Home screen

Reorder, collapse, or restore the sections on the Home tab so the rows you use most appear first.

Applies to the High IQ iPhone app · Updated

The Home tab shows its sections in a set order. You can change that order. You can also collapse sections you do not use. The tool buttons always stay at the top.

Before you start

  • Sign in. Some sections, such as Recent activity and Your overview, appear only for signed-in users.
  • Sections appear only when they have content. A section you do not see may have nothing to show yet.

Steps

  1. Tap the Home tab.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the screen. Tap the Customize Home card.
  3. In the Customize Home sheet, tap Edit layout.
  4. Drag a section to a new place in the list.
  5. To move or collapse one section, tap that section.
  6. Tap Save layout.
  7. Tap Done.

Undo or reset changes

  • To drop your changes before you save, tap Discard layout changes.
  • To return to the default order, tap Restore default layout. You find it under Reset. You must also tap Save layout.

If something goes wrong

If the app cannot save your layout, you see this message: “This layout is only applied for now. It couldn’t be saved on this device.” Tap Retry saving Home layout.

Note: A layout that does not save still applies for the current session. Tap Retry saving Home layout to save it again.
