How to add an order by pasting a receipt

Paste the text from a receipt to log a purchase you already made at a licensed dispensary. High IQ reads the product lines. You check them, then save the order.

Before you start

• Sign in to High IQ. If you are signed out, the app says “Sign in to add orders.”
• Receipt import is a paid feature. If you tap it and see an upgrade screen instead, it is not turned on for your account yet.
• Copy the receipt text. You can use text from an email, a receipt page, or a note.
• Use between 10 and 50,000 characters of text.
• Put each product on its own line when you can. The app reads these lines best.

Steps

1. Tap Stash, then tap More, then tap Add order.
2. Tap Paste Receipt.
3. Tap the text box. Then tap Paste from clipboard, or type the lines yourself.
4. Check that the text shows your products.
5. Tap Review items.

The app reads the text and opens the review screen. Check each item before you save. See Review and confirm an order.

Note: A receipt header or total alone is not enough. Include the product lines.

If something goes wrong

• Nothing to read: Paste your receipt text first.
• Clipboard is empty: Copy the receipt text again, then try again.
• Add more text: The text is too short. Add product names, amounts, or prices.
• Keep receipt text under 50,000 characters: Remove lines you do not need.
• Could not read order text: The app found no items. Add product lines and try again.
