How to add an order by scanning a receipt

Take a photo of a receipt, or choose one from your photo library, to log a purchase you already made at a licensed dispensary. The app reads the photo and lists the items. You check them, then save the order.

Before you start

• Sign in to High IQ. If you are signed out, the app says “Sign in to add orders.”
• Allow High IQ to use your camera or photo library when the app asks.
• Lay the receipt flat in good light. Keep all of the product lines in the frame.

Steps

1. Tap Stash, then tap More, then tap Add order.
2. Tap Scan Receipt.
3. Choose how to add the photo:
   • Tap Take photo to use your camera.
   • Tap Choose photo to use a photo from your library.
4. Check the photo. To replace it, tap Change photo or Take new photo.
5. Tap Review items.

The app reads the photo and opens the review screen. Check each item before you save. See Review and confirm an order.

Photo formats and size

• The app accepts JPEG, PNG, WebP, and HEIC photos.
• The app resizes the longest side of the photo to 1,600 pixels.
• After resizing, the upload limit is about 6 MB.

If something goes wrong

• Camera access needed: Open iPhone Settings, tap High IQ, then allow camera access.
• Photo access needed: Open iPhone Settings, tap High IQ, then allow photo access.
• Photo too large: Take a new photo at a lower resolution.
• Could not read photo: The photo may be blurry. Take a clearer photo with good light. Or paste the receipt text instead. See Add an order by pasting a receipt.
