How to change the app icon and appearance

You can set High IQ to use system, light or dark colors. You can also choose a different app icon from the icon groups in the app.

Steps: change the appearance

1. Tap Profile in the tab bar.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Under Preferences, tap Appearance.
4. Tap System, Light or Dark.

The change applies at once. The appearance setting and the app icon are separate. Changing one does not change the other.

Steps: change the app icon

1. Tap Profile in the tab bar.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Under Preferences, tap App Icon.
4. Find the icon you want in one of the groups on the screen.
5. Tap the icon.
6. Follow the message from iOS to confirm the change.

Your Home Screen shows the new icon after iOS finishes the change.

Note: Some app icons may be locked on your account. If you tap a locked icon, the app shows a message and the icon does not change.

Note: If you see “This build cannot change the app icon,” your version of High IQ cannot change the icon. Check for an app update, then try again.

If something goes wrong

• The icon does not change. Wait a few seconds. Then try the same icon again. If it still does not change, close the app and open it again.
• The colors do not change. Check that Appearance shows the option you picked. The colors follow the setting you chose on this iPhone.
