How to use the Den room in High IQ

The Den room is a 3D room. It shows your saved records as objects, and each object opens part of High IQ. Professor High guides you through the room. The Den room may not be available to everyone yet.

Open the Den room

1. Tap the Home tab.
2. Tap the Professor High button in the header.

When the Den room is on, this button replaces your avatar.

Move around the room

• Drag with one finger to look around.
• Pinch to zoom in and out.
• Tap Look around the whole room to move through the room. Tap Leave view mode to stop.
• Tap List the places in your Den to see every place in the room as a list.
• Tap Start room tour to hear the guide again.
• Tap Close the Den to go back to the app.

You can leave the room at any time. Leaving does not change your records or your settings.

If Reduce Motion is on in iPhone Settings, the room shows “Static mode is on.” The room then stays still.

Places in the room

Each place opens a part of High IQ. Some places show a message when you have no records yet.

• Bookshelf shows your notebooks. If you have none, it says “Your shelf is waiting for its first notebook.” Tap Start a notebook to make one.
• Podium shelf shows strains you have compared. If you have none, tap Rank strains.
• Wall chart shows your stats. Tap See Stats to open them.
• Strain wall shows strains you tagged as Tasted, Have it or Want.
• Taste poster fills in as you rank and rate strains. See Your Taste Profile.
• Map shows the shops you saved as pins. If you have none, it says “No pins yet.”
• Record player plays strain songs.

Good to know

• The room shows only your own saved data.
• If the room preview does not load, you see “The room preview is unavailable.” Wait a moment, then try again.
