How to edit your profile

You can change your name, username, photo and profile cover on the Edit profile screen. You can also add an email address and manage security settings there. You must be signed in to edit your profile.

Open Edit profile

1. Tap the Profile tab.
2. Tap your name or photo at the top of the screen.

You can also tap Settings, then Account, then Profile.

Change your name or username

1. On the Edit profile screen, start editing.
2. Change the first name, username or display name.
3. Tap Save profile changes.
4. Look for the message “Profile updated.”

If you leave the screen with unsaved changes, the app asks “Discard changes?” Tap Keep editing to go back, or tap Discard to remove the changes.

Change your photo

1. Tap Add profile photo or Change photo.
2. Tap Take photo, Choose photo or Remove photo.

Note: If High IQ cannot use the camera, it asks you to allow camera access in Settings. Tap Open settings to change the permission.

Change your profile cover

The cover is the artwork behind your name on the Profile tab. Choose Photos or Mascots to pick a style.

Add an email address

1. Tap Add email address.
2. Tap Send verification code.
3. Enter the six-digit code from the email.
4. Tap Verify email.

When the address is verified, you can use it to recover your account. If the address is already connected to another account, the app shows an error. To send a new code, wait for the timer to finish, then tap the resend option.

Set up security

• Two-factor authentication: Tap Set up authenticator. Enter the setup key in your authenticator app, enter the six-digit code, then tap Verify and enable.
• Recovery codes: Tap Generate new recovery codes to make a new set. The old codes stop working.
• Turn off two-factor authentication: Tap Disable authenticator.
• Signed-in devices: Under Active Sessions, tap Revoke next to another device to sign it out. Your device is marked Current.

Note: To sign out of this phone, use Sign out in Settings. Revoking your current device here does not sign it out.
